ABOUT ME

Lou Anna Claveau is also published under the name B.A. Huckabee. She wanted to fulfill her mother's dream of becoming publishing herself. She currently lives near the beach in Mississippi and has six children, all boys. If you count her "adopted" children it is over 200 plus children with all the band members that have found their way to the "heaven on earth" she calls Monkey Bread.

She also has two dogs and a cat. Lucky is a fat little schnauzer who loves nothing more than Mrs. Claveau's husband. Lucky is a rescue of sorts. She adopted him from a local breeder who was less than kind to the animals. He has been a part of the family since Father's Day 2008. Mellow is a toy poodle who is a seriously mellow little dude. He is an apricot colored bundle of fur who was, yes, rescued. Walking the flea market the poor little dog was up for sale at age 4 weeks and Mr. Claveau couldn't help himself. Somehow they left with a goat too. The goat sadly passed away. The cat is named Tuesday thanks to when she was picked up....at the Humane Society. She is a pretentious ball of black fur with green eyes. But then she is a cat.

Mrs. Claveau holds two master degrees, one in counseling and another is elementary education. She is a licensed therapist and among other things maintains a private practice when she isn't teaching or writing. She also designs and constructs costumes and somehow manages to find time to still make Monkey Bread, attend all the sporting events and keep track of all things Claveau.

She is a grandmother to two beautiful girls, Sophie and Gracie. Her boys are Josh, he helps churches get built, Gabriel who is a trained chef, Christian who is going to mediccal school, Mathieu who is a YouTuber, Aaron who is becoming a Marine and Ethan who is only 11 years old and KNOWS he will be playing baseball LSU. (We'll keep updated!)
