What happens when a writer doesn't write?

Have you ever sat down to write but so much more gets in the way? So yeah, that's happened for what feels like FOREVER. Like most people who need a creative outlet writers have things that happen to them when they don't write. For me it's dreams! Lots of them too! So inbetween trying to write and finding time to be a mom, wife, writer, counselor, financial advisor and teacher I tend to find to do things like eat, sleep and shower. Except not writing tends to remove that sleep thing!

My brain has decided in recent nights that I will meet Princess Grace both before her marriage when she was Grace Kelly and after. I also dreamt of snakes and bridges, new homes and a few other famous dead people.....So my brain has not let up on the slacking I have been doing.
